MeshMapper
A simple drag-and-drop application to generate texture-map templates from
Wavefront OBJ files. MeshMapper will read the OBJ file and output a PICT file
containing a grid of lines that can be used as a template when developing texture
maps for the model.
Freeware.
MeshMapper is now largely obsolete, as Steve Cox's
UVMapper PPC is now
available. UVMapper is also freeware, does the same job as MeshMapper, and
does a great deal more besides. You are recommended to use it in place of
MeshMapper. MeshMapper is currently being maintained/extended only because it
is fractionally more stable than UVMapper in certain circumstances. When UVMapper's
stability improves, MeshMapper is likely to be retired.
Please note that MeshMapper is alpha software, and has not been extensively tested.
Use at your own risk.
MeshMapper is based on DropShell by
Leonard Rosenthol, Marshall Clow and Stephan Somogyi.
