This pretty but pointless applet draws abstract designs
based on spiral patterns called Lissajou spirals. The spirals are actually
drawn in two dimensions, but careful shading can give the illusion of depth.
The applet can plot in a wide range of styles and colors; to explore some
of the possibilities, try the applet tester,
