Pyramidiocy

[3K/27K]

Yes, I saw that movie too. This image wasn't made on a Quantel Paintbox and it didn't cost $200,000 to make.

"I don't suppose the word 'dweeb' means anything to you, does it?" [Col. O'Neill]

Comments:

I made this image shortly after having seen the film 'Stargate', wanting to see if I could use Bryce and my humble Macintosh IIci to produce the same kind of effects that the film-makers achieved with vastly expensive models and an array of Quantel Paintbox machines. It isn't quite as pretty as the images from the film, but it does demonstrate how far personal computer graphics have come.

The image is very simple; a few primitives and some terrains.
