My original idea was to have her leaning up against something, perhaps in a gritty urban scene: a bored kid, or a hooker waiting for trade, or something in between. As the scene developed, however, playing around with the sky to get the lighting right led me to a dawn scene and eventually to the sun rising over some black, unearthly-looking crags.
There are three radial lights in the scene - two in glass spheres (one of which is visible), a third hovering overhead to bring out some of the girl's features. The column that the girl leans against is a Booleaned cylinder, and the wall and railing are also made from Bryce primitives. |
