Comments:

A first (and not entirely successful) attempt to use Extreme 3D to construct objects for use in Bryce. The final model is distinctly crude, which explains why I've opted for a close-up, rather than showing off the none-too-convincing legs and body.

Avid fans of science-fiction may recognise the inspiration - Nessus, the puppeteer from Larry Niven's "Ringworld" and "The Soft Weapon". Technically, each of Nessus's heads should have only one eye ("Ringworld" refers to 'a pair of silly-looking one-eyed pythons' when describing Nessus's appearance on the display of Louis Wu's videophone). His coloration is probably also all wrong.

The 'arch' (which is to say the ring) is a huge torus set to fuzzy additive. The Extreme 3D model was imported as a DXF.
