Comments:

This was originally part of the "Minotauromachy" image. It didn't work in that context, but the lighting on the figure was interesting enough for me to resurrect it separately.

The figure is a Poser 3 casual male, reclothed with a custom texture map. The doorway is composed of Booleaned Bryce primitives, and the rear wall is textured with a material whose bump channel is based on a 2D texture created in Photoshop.

And that's about it. The citation is an afterthought, taken from Ian Anderson's biting satire on "Protect and Survive", the official government instructions on how to 'survive' a nuclear war. It was added simply because the open doorway suggested a bomb shelter, and I free-associated on the word 'shelter'.
