"With a bang, bang, bang - and down they go
It's just a job to do
But the harder they come, the harder they fall
And I'm coming hard on you"

Comments:

This began as an experiment to see if I could add hair to my Poser figures using Extreme 3D, and clothing by judicious use of Booleans. The skintight black clothing, bare midriff and hairstyle made me think of Molly/Sally Shears in William Gibson's "Neuromancer", so I outfitted her with a mean-looking pistol, and started to create a scene around her. It could be Molly in the arcade, or during her visit to the SenseNet pyramid to steal the Dixie Flatline's ROM construct (is this making any sense to anyone?). Or it might not, depending on how you picture these things.

The biggest problem with Poser figures is that, even dressed and coiffured, they have no facial features. Attempts to add eyes made from stretched spheres, or to project images onto the figure's face were not particularly successful. Accordingly, I dropped a cloud plane in front of her for a fog effect, and played around with the lighting, in an attempt to disguise the fact that my avenging angel has about as much facial expression as a tailor's dummy.

The scene itself became quite complex - the wall display was based on the Poser wireframe, and there are a couple of other monitors (not visible in this view) which show other images of the woman. The idea was that even while she's creating havoc, the security systems in the room are busy showing warning images to the luckless occupants. A little late, I think.

I can't really go around quoting late Genesis and expecting people to take me seriously, but once again I was stuck for a good quotation.
